SKILLS

  • Skilled designer comfortable in multiple mediums but best in digital mediums.
  • Applications knowledge. Proficient in Macintosh programs including: QuarkXpress, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Freehand, Fireworks & Flash; as well as Microsoft Office.
  • Mainly self-taught in many of these programs. I am a self-starter and am always interested in learning new things.
  • Excellent project manager - I can see the big picture and keep projects moving, can recognize what needs to happen when and can help the team stay on task.

RECENT PROJECT WORK

  • Currently working with GooeyMac in creating a new CSS-based website for Edge Life magazine. This site will also contain rotating flash images.
  • Developed a website for Skin Sense, a division of Sybaritic (www.skinsenseinfo.com). This site contains a searchable database of approximately 120 various skin care products. This was a team-effort in conjunction with Crowley Creative and MakesItGo.

  • Developed two websites as a contractor for MTM Advertsing. The websites were for newly-built housing communities, The Bluffs of Elk River (thebluffsofelkriver.com) and Provence on the River (provenceontheriver.com). I created these websites using their designer’s Illustrator files.

EXPERIENCE

  • Worked two semesters at the McGregor ISD #4 in 2000 as an instructor of PageMaker, Photoshop and Illustrator programs. I showed the junior-year yearbook class as well as the teacher how to implement these programs to lay out their yearbook and send it to press. I continued to do contract print work with the McGregor School District until 2004, creating two yearly publications, a 20-page Class Registration Booklet for the Senior High students; and a 6-page Systems Accountability Report.
